Anthony Cochrane is an actor and composer who has worked extensively in British theatre and television, with the Royal Shakespeare Company and as a recurring character in Taggart, not to mention touring America and appearing regularly in acclaimed Broadway and off-Broadway work, including Tom Stoppard's Coast of Utopia trilogy at the Lincoln Center Vivian Beaumont Theater. The trilogy won a total of seven Tony Awards including best play, more than any Broadway play in the history of the awards.

Anthony has 2012 already sewn up as he joins the New York cast of War Horse at the Lincoln Center. But he's still finding time to write the soundtrack for Dreadful Sorry, a new short film directed by Robert Richmond.

Summer of 2011 saw Anthony working with fellow Royal Shakepeare Company alumni Adrian Noble and Ron Daniels in a season at the Old Globe Theater in San Diego. He played Antonio in Adrian Noble's production of The Tempest, Friar Francis in Ron Daniels' Much Ado About Nothing and Count Orsini Rosenberg in Amadeus. He then returnd to the Folger Shakespeare Theatre in Washington DC to write the music for their Fall production of Othello.
