Anthony Cochrane is an actor and composer who has worked extensively in British theatre and television, with the Royal Shakespeare Company and as a recurring character in Taggart, not to mention touring America and appearing regularly in acclaimed Broadway and off-Broadway work, including Tom Stoppard's Coast of Utopia trilogy at the Lincoln Center Vivian Beaumont Theater. The trilogy won a total of seven Tony Awards including best play, more than any Broadway play in the history of the awards.

Anthony is currently playing to great reviews as Timon in a re-worked Timon of Athens at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival. As if that wasn't enough, he also wrote the music.

Earlier this year, he made his first foray into directing with a production of Julius Caesar at the New Jersey Shakespeare Theatre.
