Anthony Cochrane is an actor and composer who has worked extensively in British theatre and television, with the Royal Shakespeare Company and as a recurring character in Taggart, not to mention touring America and appearing regularly in acclaimed Broadway and off-Broadway work, including Tom Stoppard's Coast of Utopia trilogy at the Lincoln Center Vivian Beaumont Theater. The trilogy won a total of seven Tony Awards including best play, more than any Broadway play in the history of the awards.

Anthony has just finished writing and recording music for Alex Webb's film Hove, due to premiere at the Palm Springs Film Festival.
On stage, he spent Spring of 2009 playing Autolycus in The Winter's Tale at the Folger Shakespeare Theater, Washington DC, directed by Blake Robison.

Anthony ended 2008 playing the villain Sempronius in Flea Theater's well-received off-Broadway production of Cato, directed by Jim Simpson. Other shows that year included the Lincoln Center Theater production of Cymbeline, directed by Mark Lamos, and a new off-Broadway comedy; The Grecian Formula at Theaters at 45 Bleeker Street.
