Anthony Cochrane is an actor and composer who has worked extensively in British theatre and television, with the Royal Shakespeare Company and as a recurring character in Taggart, not to mention touring America and appearing regularly in acclaimed Broadway and off-Broadway work, including Tom Stoppard's Coast of Utopia trilogy at the Lincoln Center Vivian Beaumont Theater. The trilogy won a total of seven Tony Awards including best play, more than any Broadway play in the history of the awards.

Anthony has joined the cast of the Broadway premiere production of The Audience, starring Helen Mirren. This follows his turn as Charlie Clench in the St. Louis rep production of One Man, Two Guvnors and his return to the Folger Theatre in Washington D.C. as Brutus in their production of Julius Caesar, both of which finished of 2014 very nicely.

Earlier last year he made his first foray into directing with another production of Julius Caesar, this time at the New Jersey Shakespeare Theatre, before garnering great reviews as Timon in a re-worked Timon of Athens at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival.
